Fusion meals are all the time a welcome change from common dishes. And when it’s about combining the flavours of pizza and popcorn, may we actually ask for something extra?
If you’re questioning what we’re speaking about, this distinctive popcorn comes with the style of pizza — it’s coated with tomato powder, basil and cheese. And the person behind its creation is none aside from celeb chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Take a glance:
1 cup – Dried corn kernels
1tbsp – Oil
2 tbsp – Butter
1½ tbsp – Tomato powder
½ tsp – Dried basil
1 tbsp – Parmesan cheese powder
*Heat 1 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter in a deep non-stick pan, add dried corn kernels and blend nicely. Cover the pan and prepare dinner until the kernels pop.
*Heat remaining oil and remaining butter in one other non-stick pan. When the butter melts, add tomato powder and dried basil and blend nicely. Add popcorn and blend until the entire popcorn is coated.
*Add parmesan cheese powder and blend nicely.
*Transfer right into a serving bowl and serve instantly.
