An all-women artwork exhibition to mark International Women’s Day was inaugurated at Lalit Kala Akademi right here on Monday, a launch stated.
Titled ‘Akshya Patra’, the exhibition at Rabindra Bhavan Galleries will go on until March 20 and showcase greater than 250 artworks from over 12 nations, together with these created by 29 proficient feminine artists that attended the three-day all ladies’s nationwide artwork camp at Garhi Studios over the last three days, the Akademi stated within the launch.
The multi-dimensional artwork present, exhibiting works of senior, younger and budding artwork practitioners, has each Indian and worldwide members because it brings to the fore up to date, tribal, worldwide, and Avante Garde artwork practices worldwide, themed across the many faces and benefactions of Mother Nature, it stated.
Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Prahlad Patel inaugurated the occasion.

“Women have been the keystone in the unyielding arch of Indian art and culture. Looking at these mesmerising artworks, I can only say that given the right opportunities, women can create magic,” Patel stated.
“I find myself privileged to have had the honour of attending this event and I thank all the women of the country for their contribution to the growth and development of the nation.”
