Daman: Danah-Daman – Apart from Diu’s bar and spa, hotels and restaurants as well as religious institutions are allowed to open. The administration has issued guidelines to combat the Covid-19 transition. Daman: Hotel managers will have to book their rooms online for guests from outside the state in Diu hotels.
Online booking of hotels in Daman has started but spas and bars will not open
The Danah-Daman-Diu Disaster Management Authority has given permission to start hotels, restaurants, motels, and lodges in all areas except the containment zone. Also, instructions have been given. According to which hotel operators will have to make thermal screening and sanitizing process of incoming guests mandatory. Vehicles will also have to be sanitized. In addition to maintaining hygiene in the hotel premises, the utensils should be cleaned and disinfected. Instead of handing out food and tea to the guests staying in the hotel room and handing over the items to them, a tipoi-like device should be kept outside the room. Quality disposable paper napkins should be used instead of cloth napkins. The air condition of the room should be kept between 24 and 30 degrees. If any of the hotel staff is unwell, they cannot be kept on duty. Also, posters on the prevention of Covid-19 will have to be displayed at various places in the hotel. The bathroom and toilet also need to be cleaned from time to time.
The restaurant should be open from 7 am to 7 pm with a 50 percent seating arrangement with social distance at a distance of 1 meter. Administrators will have to promote the parcel. Instead of menu cards, recipes and price lists should be written on an electronic display or in clear letters on the board. Parties and other gatherings will not be allowed in the restaurant. Payment will be made through digital payment if possible instead of cash. The administration has also warned that legal action will be taken against any administrator who is caught violating all the above instructions.
No more than 10 people can attend religious places
Religious places in the region will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. In which devotees have to wear masks. Distribution of Prasad, bhajan-kirtan, and religious programs will not be allowed. Also, no more than 10 people will be able to attend. The trustees must also keep all the details of the people entering.
Hotels will be booked online
Hotel operators in Danah-Daman-Diu hotels will have to book rooms for guests from outside states online. In this regard, the hotel managers have to give them a list with the details of the check-in and check-out of the guests coming there 2 days in advance. After checking which the administration will issue an e-pass for the guests.
