NEW DELHI: The authorities on Wednesday termed Rahul Gandhi‘s tweet on the cancellation of India-Russia summit as “false and misleading”, explaining that the scheduled assembly between the 2 nations was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

We’re confident that it will be held in the near future, while the Russian-Indian relations will continue its further development,” the Russian ambassador to India was quoted as saying by information company ANI.
