TEL AVIV: Israel will ship a group to take part in an investigation into the blast exterior its embassy in New Delhi on Friday, Sputnik reported citing sources.
Sources instructed Sputnik that the choice was made after India’s nationwide safety advisor Ajit Doval spoke to his Israeli counterpart Meir Ben-Shabbat whereas updating the scenario and the continued investigation into the minor explosion.
Israel’s defence institutions have suspected Iran‘s IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) behind the assault, in line with the sources. Prior to the assault, a Tel Aviv directive was issued for elevated vigilance at its embassies around the globe as a result of fears of an Iranian assault.
A low-intensity explosion happened close to the Israel embassy on Friday. No accidents have been reported within the incident thus far. Windscreens of a number of vehicles parked within the neighborhood of the embassy on APJ Abdul Kalam Road had been discovered broken.
The explosion happened not removed from Vijay Chowk, the place President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been in attendance in the course of the ‘Beating Retreat’ ceremony.

Investigators have recovered an envelope with textual content written on it associated to Israel embassy officers from the blast web site, in line with sources.
“The envelope has a text related to an Israel embassy official. It is a case for investigating officers to see whether or not it has any link with the case. But, it has been recovered from the blast site,” a senior authorities official instructed ANI.
External affairs minister S Jaishankar assured the Israeli international minister of “full protection” to their diplomats.
