SRINAGAR: The Jammu & Kashmir authorities on Monday amended its warrant of priority, inserting chairpersons of the district growth councils on a par with administrative secretaries and IGPs.
According to the warrant of priority, chairpersons of DDCs have been positioned at serial Number 26 within the protocol listing. They will now have a standing equal to administrative secretaries, divisional commissioners, IGPs, joint secretaries to the federal government of India, and officers of equal rank, and officers of the rank of Major General or equal rank.
As per the warrant of priority, vice-chairpersons of the DDCs have been positioned at serial Number 27, equal to the vice-chancellors of universities throughout the state or UT.
The DDC members determine on the backside of the warrant of priority together with block growth council chairpersons, presidents of municipal councils, and municipalities, district magistrates, officers of the rank of brigadier and equal, main heads of departments, and district and classes judges, at serial Number 28.
