NEW DELHI: The NIA on Thursday carried out searches at a membership in South Mumbai, the place dismissed constable Vinayak Shinde, an alleged affiliate of arrested Mumbai police officer Sachin Waze, had procured SIM playing cards purportedly used within the Mansukh Hiren homicide conspiracy, from a Gujarat bookie Naresh Gor. “The searches were conducted based on the leads so far. The recoveries include some incriminating documents,” an NIA officer informed TOI.
Shinde, who’s convicted in Lakhan Bhaiya homicide case and was on parole, is claimed to have procured the SIM playing cards via Gor, a frequent customer to the south Mumbai membership.
