PATNA: At least six staff died when a portion of a wall at a authorities highschool collapsed through the building of a drain in Khagaria district of Bihar on Monday. Ex-gratia of Rs four lakh was given to the following of kin of every deceased, chief minister Nitish Kumar stated.
The accident came about round 4pm when the employees had been eradicating the soil of the drain and the college wall — constructed round eight months in the past — caved in. Official sources stated the drain was being constructed underneath Bihar authorities’s Nal-Jal scheme. Khagaria SP Amitesh Kumar stated nobody was injured and the varsity was closed when the wall collapsed. The our bodies had been despatched for post-mortem and an FIR registered with Maheshkunt police station.
