Soli J Sorabjee a doyen among legal luminaries passes away

NEW DELHI: Former Attorney normal and authorized luminary Soli J Sorabjee handed away on Friday. He was 91 and survived by spouse, a daughter and two sons.
Sorabjee and his spouse had examined optimistic for Covid some days again, sources mentioned. While spouse is recovering effectively, Sorabjee succumbed as he had many co-morbidity.

Suddenly (his) heart stopped last night and could not be revived. Long association.”

Just just a few weeks in the past, Justice R F Nariman had launched a festschrift in honour of Sorabjee at IIC in presence of a normally jovial Sorabjee and his relations in presence of many SC and HC judges.
A human rights champion of worldwide acclaim, Sorabjee had been a votary of safety of basic rights of the final man standing within the socio-economic hierarchy.
